An older sunroom kept leaking every time it rained hard. A previous contractor came out and patched it. It leaked again anyway. That's the point most homeowners stop trusting the last fix and start looking for someone who can actually solve the problem, and it's how this Camano Island homeowner found Amor Roofing.
A leak that kept coming back
"We had an older sunroom, and it was leaking when we had heavy rains," the homeowner said. "We asked somebody to come in and try to fix it, and they put it up, and we had more leaks. So we finally decided it was probably time to just get somebody that can really work on it."
A patch on a failing roof buys time, not a fix. Once skylights and flashing are past the point of a repair, the leak just finds a new path in.
Responded in hours, started the next day
"William responded in hours just after I had posted the request, and he shows up the next day," the homeowner said. "I was amazed, because a lot of times I didn't hear from people, or they came and they really didn't seem like they knew what they were doing. But William was just a great, great person to talk to from the get-go."
The communication didn't stop once the job was booked. "They just totally communicated the whole time. I'd get a text or mostly phone calls from William saying, 'Well, okay, we've got the order in for the skylights. We've got the order in for the Brava tiles.'"
Two weeks of work, done in 11 days
"I thought it was going to last maybe two weeks, but they did it in 11 days," the homeowner said. The project replaced the failing skylights and re-roofed with Brava composite Spanish tile, a synthetic product built to hold up on an island exposed to wind and heavy rain without the weight or maintenance of real clay tile.
"I never called them roofers. I call them artists."
"Their slogan is 'roofers with heart,' and you could feel that every day when they came to work and just how they treated us, and they love their art form," the homeowner said. "I never called them roofers. I call them artists, and they're meticulous with what they do, and you can trust them to do the job without any shortcuts or anything like that."
The kind of trust that spreads
"We already gave recommendations before this even started," the homeowner said. "We just felt like we were in wonderful hands. We have friends that live here on the island, and they had a bad experience with two roofers that caused more problems than fixing them. So we told them about William, and Santiago were right on it that same day, and they got a crew in and helping them out. They also ended up getting a new roof and gutters, and everybody's pleased."
"It's like 10"
"They're rock stars in the roofing business for sure," the homeowner said. "This was the best experience ever. If I had to give them a how-many-stars, I'm thinking it's like 10. It's over the top."
If a leak keeps coming back after someone's already tried to patch it, that's usually a sign the fix needs to go further than another patch. Amor Roofing is a small, family-owned company serving Snohomish County and North King County. Call us for a free inspection, or get your free estimate today.
