Roofing is the family trade. My dad and his twin brother, my Uncle Donald, owned a roofing company, and on my dad's side I do not think there is a single male who has not done it. Before Amor I was doing dirt work, putting greens, running an excavator and a bit of rough framing. When a role opened here for an estimator rather than someone nailing shingles, that was a lot more enticing. I was not looking to climb out of my excavator just to go lift shingles.
What I actually sell is a straight answer in either direction. People call assuming it is a repair when the roof is done, or assuming they need a full replacement when they have years left. I am not trying to upsell anybody, and if the honest answer is that you should not spend money right now, that is what I will tell you.
The thing customers end up bragging about is the process. Photos the whole way through, communication above and beyond, nightly updates while the project is running, and never once having to call in and ask what is going on. A roof is not cheap and life is already life. Most people do not want one more thing to worry about.
You might run into me at
A Hawks or Huskies game, or local events and festivals around Snohomish County. I am a bit of a homebody, so a big game with friends is more my speed than being out and about.
